The saffron plant consists of two main parts, the head or stigma which has three red branches and the main (red) saffron is located in this part.
And the part of the cream that is attached to the end of the stigma and is known as white saffron or saffron root because of its bright yellow-white color.
To put it more simply, when we take out the red saffron branches, a pale yellow string is attached to the end of each one, and they separate the two parts.
